The Watchpost is our estate-grade offering — 100% Kona coffee graded Hawaii No. 1, the third-highest official grade. This is an outstanding everyday coffee for anyone who refuses to compromise on origin and quality.

No. 1 grade beans are slightly smaller or less uniform than Fancy, but they come from the same farm, the same careful hand-picking, and the same washed process. The result is a clean, classic Kona cup: low acidity, smooth body, and the mellow sweetness that made Kona coffee famous around the world. We roast the Watchpost at a medium profile that highlights toasted walnut and brown sugar with a gentle citrus brightness.

In the Kona Kaiju mythology, the Watchposts are the fortified stations scattered across the slopes of Hualalai — the backbone of the defense network. Not flashy, not showy, just steadfast and always ready.
