Kona Kaiju Prime – “The Vanguard” — Full City Roast

The Vanguard is 100% Kona coffee at our most approachable price point. Graded Hawaii Prime, these beans are smaller or slightly less uniform than our top grades — but they come from the same five-acre farm on Hualalai, the same hand-picked harvest, and the same meticulous processing.

We roast the Vanguard at a medium to medium-dark profile that brings out its natural strengths: rich dark chocolate, roasted nut, and a mild sweetness carried by a full, smooth body. This is an honest everyday coffee that happens to be 100% Kona — something most daily drinkers never get to experience.

In the Kona Kaiju mythology, the Vanguard is the front-line force that meets the threat head-on. Not as elite as the Guardian or the Sentinel, but courageous, essential, and always the first to answer the call.

Whole bean. Great in any brewing method, especially drip and cold brew.
